Chanukah is almost here!And although my sister and her family will be in another state of the country, we will all be in the same state of mind -- happy! This is one of my favorite holidays, and not because of the presents. This holiday celebrates Jewish revolution over those who would defile the Temple by building altars to idols, as well as the miracle of one day's worth of oil providing light for eight. There are other interpretations as well, but those two are the basics.
My family sings the following song from an Chanukah record (record! haha) that we had, back in the day. It's sung in a round, and sometimes we actually get it right!
