So today is the day I cast my ballot for Hillary’s
nomination, again.
It brings to mind when I was a youngster at P.S. 24 in
Flushing, Queens and it was a voting day. They would drag out the voting booths
with their drapes and mysterious handles, strangers at the sign-in tables, and occasional
bunting. I also seem to remember voting taking place in the auditorium, but
that doesn’t make much sense, does it?
Fast forward to today, through my first vote at college for Clinton
in ’92 and again at the next one, the Bush/Gore/”Chad” fiasco, Obama, and now
this extremely exciting and sometimes nauseating progression of events leading
to today, Super Tuesday.

I don't even want to vote this year, but I did.
I feel like Hillary has changed somewhat since the last campaign, but I still think she's the best choice. FWIW.
I hate election years.
I was for her in 2008 and very disappointed she didn't get the nom. I like Sanders but he's pretty much toast now ~ dunno if he'll even make it to the Cali primary. This time I don't like Clinton at all, but I will vote for her against Trump, blech. I would like to SOMEDAY actually be able to vote for someone I'm enthusiastic about in the general. Every time it's the lesser of.
Agedhipster, me too. They are so depressing.
Paula, I am really worried about Trump. He is nothing this country should be proud of, and yet... yet, fools keep saying how wonderful he is. I guess it's really the fools I worry about, but it all sucks.
Drumpf is an embarrassment.
Lol @ Drumpf. That is killing me! Seriously though, he guy has no filter. cna you imagine him in foreign negotiations of any kind? Sheeit.
Elections definitely were held in the auditorium. I remember waiting on line with Mom and Dad one time for what felt like hours. But I also remember seeing the voting machines lined up in the auditorium in the days leading up to election day every year.
So I AM remembering correctly! Alexis Clipboard, what about bunting? Was it there or am I inserting details? I recall it at least once.
